Matthijs de Ligt is one of the most backed transfer bets through oddschecker today having emerged as a surprise summer target for Chelsea.
The 22-year-old centre back has come in from 6/1 at the end of May and 4/1 at the start of last week into a best price 5/2 to join Thomas Tuchel's side this summer.
He was widely expected to join Barcelona when he left Ajax three years ago before opting to join Juventus in a deal worth a reported €75 million.
During his time in Italy with the Old Lady, de Ligt has won one Serie A title, as well as a Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana. He has made a total of 87 league appearances, scoring eight times.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are trying to fill a sizeable hole in their defence after Antonio Rudiger joined La Liga and Champions League double winners Real Madrid.
Real's Spanish rivals Barcelona are also still on track to complete the signing of Andreas Christensen, while Blues club captain Cesar Azpilicueta has also been heavily linked with a move to the Camp Nou.

At the time of writing, the odds would suggest de Ligt is more likely to stay at Juventus (1/10), despite the eye-catching shortening for Chelsea in his 'Club After Summer Transfer Window Betting Odds' market over the last few weeks.
The chances of him joining any German or Spanish club have been priced equally at 10/1, while he is a shade shorter to join a French club (8/1) because of faint links to PSG (11/1). The shortest priced English club after Chelsea is Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool at a best price 11/1.
Is he the man to shore up Chelsea’s defence ahead of the start of the Premier League on Friday 5th August? Only time will tell whether de Ligt lines up for the Blues at Everton the following day.
