Transfer Deadline Day Odds: Five deals to shake up the Premier League season

Deadline Day is the final opportunity for Premier League teams to bring in new players before January. What are the biggest deals to look out for?

Neymar – Paris Saint Germain to Chelsea

One of the most gifted footballers of this generation, Brazilian star Neymar could be set to a move to the Premier League, with Chelsea interested in bringing him to Stamford Bridge. Following Chelsea’s embarrassing defeat to Southampton last night, Thomas Tuchel will be desperate to bring in a creative and stylish player into the team.

New chairman Todd Boehly has already sanctioned the transfers of Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly and Marc Cucurella, and will be keen to improve his front line following disappointing performances from Christian Pulisic, Kai Havertz and Mason Mount this season.

Chelsea are currently favourites to sign the Brazilian at a best price of 18/1 (worst price 8/1).

Ismaila Sarr – Watford to Newcastle/Crystal Palace

Ismaila Sarr has been linked with a move away from Watford ever since the Hornets’ relegation to the Championship was confirmed. Emmanuel Dennis has already left Vicarage Road for greener pastures, and with links to a return to the Premier League Sarr could be the next player to do so, with Newcastle and Crystal Palace both interested.

He is currently best priced 3/1 for a move to Newcastle and 7/2 to Crystal Palace.

Youri Tielemans – Leicester to Arsenal/Liverpool/Newcastle

Youri Tielemans has been linked with a move away from Leicester to various clubs within the Premier League this window. The Foxes have already said goodbye to Wesley Fofana, as he departs for Chelsea, and Tielemans could be a late departure from Leicester. Brendan Rodgers has made no improvements to their squad and will not want to lose another valued asset to their side.

Arsenal remain interested and amid Liverpool’s midfield crisis, they have also shown interest as well. Tielemans to join Arsenal is currently best priced at 6/4 (worst priced 5/4), while Tielemans to join Liverpool is currently best priced at 2/1.

Dan James - Leeds United to Tottenham

Daniel James could also be on the move, with Tottenham Hotspurs looking like the primary destination for the Leeds winger. He is rumoured to be involved in a potential loan deal with an option to buy, as Conte looks to add depth to his strong squad, as they look to compete on four different fronts this season.

He is currently best priced odds at 5/4 to join Spurs by the end of Deadline Day tomorrow.

Houssem Aouar – Lyon to Fulham

With Fulham bringing in a number of quality players to improve their midfield options this summer, such as Andreas Pereira and Joao Palhinha, Houssem Aouar could be the next signing to join the Cottagers this summer. With one year left on the Frenchman’s contract at Lyon, they look set to cash in on him, and Fulham are ready to pay a rumoured £13 million to bring him to Craven Cottage.

Houssem Aouar is currently 3/1 to join Fulham before the end of the summer transfer window.
