Chelsea’s Graham Potter is as short as 2/1 to be the next Premier League manager to leave his post after back-to-back defeats against Manchester City.
Potter’s Chelsea at risk of missing out on European spot
Following Thomas Tuchel’s departure in early September, Potter is now the second favourite to be next Premier League out the door, with one bookie offering 2/1 (best price 6/1).
Chelsea owner Todd Boehly and the board have stated they see a long term vision with the former Brighton manager, but with results and performances not looking promising for Chelsea, it is not hard to see why Potter is among the favourites to be sacked.
One league win from their last eight matches, out of both the FA Cup and Carabao Cup and sitting in 10th is not a good sign for a team who finished 3rd and reached two domestic finals last season.

Lampard still the favourite in the latest sack race market
Frank Lampard is still the favourite to be sacked next at 1/3 (best price 4/7), following some dismal Everton performances of late. They face Southampton this weekend, which could be the final straw for Lampard if they do lose, seeing as Nathan Jones’ side are yet to win since he joined the Saints.
It doesn’t get any easier with the Toffees set to play Arsenal and Liverpool in February, and Everton may need to look at replacements for the 44-year-old.

Who are the likeliest replacements for Potter at Chelsea?
With Potter relatively anxious over his future at Stamford Bridge, who are some of the likeliest replacements fans could see should Potter depart?
Luis Enrique
The former Spain manager who departed his role after La Roja’s exit to Morocco in the World Cup is one name the fans might want to see at Stamford Bridge. A Champions League winner with Barcelona in 2015, Enrique has a fantastic career pedigree that might excite Chelsea fans.

Mauricio Pochettino
Linked with the role after Tuchel’s departure, the former Tottenham and PSG manager could be a suitable replacement for Potter at Stamford Bridge.
He took Spurs to a Champions League final in 2019, and his knowledge of the Premier League at the top level would be favourable. However, he is forever linked with a return to Tottenham, and might be holding out for that role should Antonio Conte leave prematurely.
