In this new weekly series, we’ll be focusing on three players we believe will be important for their teams across the next round of Premier League fixtures.
Bukayo Saka
First up, it’s man of the moment Bukayo Saka.
The Arsenal forward has been in the form of his life this season and already has 22 goal involvements in the Premier League. In his last outing for the Gunners, he scored twice and assisted once in the win over Crystal Palace.
The 21-year-old carried his fine form onto England duty, grabbing a goal and an assist in the 2-0 win versus Ukraine. In fact, the Arsenal No. 7 has a goal and an assist in three of his last eight matches across all competitions.

Reportedly close to signing a new deal at the Emirates which will allegedly see him pocket £300,000 per week, expect Saka to want to make an impression upon his return from international duty.
He was the match-winner when Arsenal travelled the Elland Road earlier in the campaign. I wouldn’t bet against him getting on the scoresheet again (best price 8/5) for the Premier League leaders.
Darwin Nunez
Next up, we have Darwin Nunez. The 23-year-old didn’t travel with the Uruguay squad during the international break due to an ankle issue. However, he’s back training with the Reds and is expected to be involved in their weekend clash with Manchester City.
Though he has looked a little off the pace over recent weeks, he has caused the reigning Premier League champions a problem in all three matches this season. He came off the bench in the Community Shield to win the penalty, converted by Mohamed Salah, before getting on the scoresheet himself in added time.
In the match at Anfield, he was brought on with 17 minutes to play and he could’ve finished the match with a goal and two assists. The away side just couldn’t deal with his directness. The two teams faced off in the Carabao Cup and Darwin missed three big chances in Liverpool’s 3-2 defeat but did assist Salah for his goal.
He’ll want to make an impression this time around (16/5 to score anytime), especially now that his place is under threat in the team after the return of Luis Diaz.
Kaoru Mitoma
And finally, Kaoru Mitoma. He scored again while away on international duty with Japan and he has 11 goal involvements in his last 14 appearances for Brighton, and five in his last five.
The Seagulls face off against Brentford this weekend, a team they are level on points with. Roberto De Zerbi’s side have games in hand on those around them though and there is still an outside chance of them pushing for a top four place (23/5 best price).
Mitoma has momentum on his side and Brighton will no doubt look to make the most of that. The 25-year-old failed to score or assist in the last meeting between the two teams, a match Brentford won 2-0. At the time though, the versatile attacker had yet to score or assist for the Seagulls, now he’s on nine goals and five assists across all competitions.
