Former Norwich City manager Daniel Farke has shortened from 40/1 at the weekend into 4/1 to become Sam Allardyce’s successor at Leeds United.
Farke, promoted to the Premier League twice with the Canaries, has emerged as a live contender for the hot seat at Elland Road. The 46-year-old, available for a best price 4/1 through oddschecker, has taken 70% of the bets in the next Leeds manager market in the last 24 hours.
Now 46, Farke spent four seasons at Carrow Road from 2017 to 2021, twice winning promotion to the Premier League but both times failing to keep the side in the top tier in the following season.
On Saturday, he left his role with Bundesliga club Borussia Monchengladbach after just one season in Germany, in which he led ‘Die Fohlen’ to an underwhelming 10th place finish. Since the news broke of his departure, bookmakers have quickly been shortening his odds on making the move to Leeds.

West Bromwich Albion manager Carlos Corberan is the betting favourite in an open market at 3/1, having previously been as big as 16/1 at the start of the month. Steven Gerrard and Scott Parker are also rumoured to be in contention, currently sitting at odds of 7/1 and 10/1 respectively.
