The latest next Sheffield Wednesday manager odds market makes Nathan Jones the favourite to replace promotion-winning Darren Moore.
Once Darren Moore left the club less than a month after guiding them to promotion to the Championship, Carlos Carvalhal was quickly installed as the favourite to return for a second spell.
However, now a return for the Portuguese 57-year-old has been given 'no chance' by Sheffield Wednesday chairman Dejphon Chansiri, who remains in the running?
Next Sheffield Wednesday Manager Odds:
| Manager | Best Odds | Worst Odds |

| Paul Ince | 4/1 | 15/8 |
| Bruno Lage | 12/1 | 11/1 |

Who will be the next Sheffield Wednesday manager?
Nathan Jones
Nathan Jones is the bookmakers' favourite in the next Sheffield Wednesday manager odds market just four months on from the end of his tumultuous time at St. Mary’s with Southampton.
Jones lasted just three months before he was sacked with the club bottom of the Premier League – a position the Saints never recovered from under subsequent manager Ruben Selles.
The Welshman registered just one win in eight league matches against Everton. He also angered the Saints' fanbase following a 3-0 defeat to Brentford with a strange outburst in which he said that he has “compromised certain principles because of personnel and the way that people want to play”.
Paul Ince
55-year-old Paul Ince is the second favourite to take over at Hillsborough despite a mixed managerial CV which includes his most recent failing at Reading.

He was sacked by the Royals in April this year after little over a year in charge with the club 22nd in the Championship and without a win in their previous eight matches. It was his first managerial job in over eight years since a short period with Blackpool between February 2013 and January 2014.
Bruno Lage
Bruno Lage (12/1 to join Wednesday) was given the boot at Molineux having collected just six points from the first eight matches of last season’s Premier League, scoring just three times.
It’s easy to forget, however, that Wolves fared much better in the previous season, flirting with European football for much of it before finishing in 10th place after failing to win any of their last seven matches.
Lage has been out of work since leaving Wolves last October.
Dean Smith
The former Villa manager is out of a job after failing to keep Leicester in the Premier League last season and may be looking for a another challenge in the Championship following his disappointing spell at Norwich.
Smith won promotion to the Premier League with Aston Villa in 2019 after winning 10 games on the bounce to sneak into the play-offs, and is considered a top manager in the Championship from his time at Villa, and Brentford before that.
Giuseppe Iachini
The Italian has been out of work since leaving Parma in 2022, but may be ready to jump back into the hot seat and test out his ability in England.
He has won promotion to Serie A twice and has over 200 managerial appearances in Italy’s top division, so he is no stranger to the pressure that come with a promotion push. Currently 3rd favourite for the Wednesday hot seat at 5/1, it would be no surprise if he was announced over native English managers.
