Karim Benzema, the former Ballon d’Or winner with five Champions League titles to his name, is reportedly eyeing a move back to Europe in the January transfer window.
It comes just seven months after Benzema, now 36 years of age, signed for Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad as the club’s marquee signing for the 2023/24 season.
Benzema has scored 15 times in all competitions for Al-Ittihad (nine in the league), but the team has slipped to 7th in the table – 25 points behind league leaders Al-Hilal.
