When is the Carabao Cup Final? Date, Kick Off Time, Odds & Betting Favourites

Everything you need to know about the 2024 Carabao Cup Final.

Chelsea and Liverpool lock horns once again in the Carabao Cup final, having met at this stage in 2022.

Liverpool are the most decorated winners of the League Cup, with nine trophy wins. They overcame Chelsea in 2022 for their ninth League Cup. Liverpool are still in four competitions and could get at least one trophy before Jurgen Klopp leaves this summer.

Chelsea could equal last year’s winner Manchester United’s tally of six with a win here. They last won the trophy in 2015, having been runners-up in 2019 and 2022, losing both on penalties.

Carabao Cup Final Date & Kick Off Time

The 2024 Carabao Cup final will take place on Sunday 25th February at an earlier kick off time of 15:00 GMT. Previous editions have started at 16:30, but the game has been moved to the earlier slot of 15:00 on public order grounds from the Metropolitan Police.

The final will take place at Wembley Stadium, as it has done since the 2008 edition when Tottenham beat Chelsea in extra time to win the first League Cup at the new Wembley.

Who are the favourites to win the Carabao Cup?

Premier League title chasing Liverpool are the big favourites to win the Carabao Cup. You can back them at a best 21/20 on Paddy Power to win in 90 minutes or 11/20 (best price on Betway) to lift the trophy, giving your bet the extra security of an extra time or penalties win.

Chelsea are 13/5 on bet365 to win in normal time or 7/4 to lift the trophy on Midnite.

The Reds beat Chelsea 4-1 just a few weeks ago at Anfield and despite the weekend injuries to Curtis Jones, Diogo Jota and Darwin Nunez, the bookmakers believe they have enough to win their record 10th League Cup triumph.
