After starring in Chelsea's 3-2 win over Newcastle last night, bookmakers are starting to believe that Cole Palmer will make the Euro 2024 squad.
Cole Palmer started the season as a 12/1 chance to make Gareth Southgate's England squad for Euro 2024 but is now as short as 1/2 on Sky Bet (best price 8/15).
The 21-year-old was still available to back at 4/1 before his performance in Chelsea's 4-4 draw with his former employers Manchester City in November.

England Squad Odds Euro 2024
Even at best prices, the bookmakers now believe he has a 65% chance of making the squad, far greater than three of his possible rivals for a right wing berth - Jarrod Bowen (7/4 - 36%), Anthony Gordon (2/1 - 33%) and clubmate Raheem Sterling (9/2 - 18%).
However, Palmer's place is still far from certain. There are currently 24 players whose best price to make the final 23-man squad is better than evens (50% chance):
- Jordan Pickford - 1/16
- Jude Bellingham - 1/12

Cole Palmer Euro 2024 Odds
A spokesperson from oddschecker said: “Cole Palmer’s transfer from Manchester City to Chelsea is proving a better choice by the day as his chances of making England’s Euro 2024 continue to climb.
“Before the season began, Palmer had been set odds of 12/1 to make the squad, a 7.7% chance of it happening. He was cut into a best price 5/4 upon his first call up in November and is now as short as 1/2 - an implied chance of 66%."
