Quote from Oddschecker’s Leon Blackman: “After reigning as the betting favourite for the PFA Player of the Year throughout 2024, Rodri has been dethroned. Phil Foden, his Manchester City teammate, is now the bookmakers' favourite to win this season’s award following his exceptional hat trick against Aston Villa. Foden’s odds were swiftly slashed from 4/1 to 2/1 post-match, and we’ve seen a significant surge in bets for the England international. Previously, he had only captured 18% of bets in the market; however, following the Villa match, he has now seized a remarkable 78% of all bets placed.
