Man City are in hot water as they continue to fight a legal battle over their alleged breaching of financial fair play rules.
The Premier League side that recently lifted their fourth consecutive English top-flight trophy have been fighting a legal battle for over 15 months now.
They were charged with 115 breaches of financial rules between 2009 to 2018.
These allegations included concealing details of how much they were paying managers and players, as well as providing inaccurate information about their revenue.
One of the original claims, when German newspaper Der Spiegel leaked the documents that sparked these allegations, was that the club was funneling more money from owner Sheikh Mansour into itself through fabricated sponsorship agreements.
Man City have recently launched legal action against the Premier League against their sponsorship rules.
If City's formidable legal team can't find a way out of these charges, there is a serious possibility the Champions could be relegated.
