Who leads the Premier League sack race as we reach the first international break?
The Premier League is renowned for its intense competition and high standards. With lofty expectations from both owners and fans, falling short can swiftly lead to dismissal. A streak of poor form is often enough to see a manager shown the door and replaced.
Last season, managers Steve Cooper, Paul Heckingbottom, and Roy Hodgson learned this the hard way as they were relieved of their duties mid-season.
In total, there were 11 managerial changes last season, including caretaker managers, and a staggering 32 the season before that.
Let's take a look at who the bookmakers believe are the most likely to leave their post next in the Premier League as we reach the first international break in the 2024/25 season.

Sean Dyche - Everton
Last season, their strong defensive unit played a crucial role in keeping them up, as they boasted the fourth-best defensive record in the league, conceding just 48 goals across 38 games.
This season they are currently the worst performing side defensively in the league having conceded 15 goals in their opening six fixtures.
After not picking up a win in their first five games, Everton got off the mark this weekend when beating Crystal Palace at home, moving Dyche out of the position as favourite to be the next Premier League manager to be sacked.
Dyche is still the third favourite to lose his job first as they sit just above the relegation zone with four goals.
Erik ten Hag - Man United
Pressure is mounting on Man United manager Erik ten Hag after suffering his second conseuctive 3-0 loss at Old Trafford when losing to Spurs on the weekend.
The Red Devils current sit in 12th in the Premier League, taking just seven points from their opening six Premier League games.
It is their joint-lowest points tally after six games in a Premier League campaign.
The Dutchman had been as long as 9/1 in the sack race market going into the match but is now a best price of 17/20 (shortest price 1/2).
Nuno Espirito Santo - Nottingham Forest
Nuno Santo, the head coach of Nottingham Forest, stepped in to replace Steve Cooper in December 2023. The Portuguese tactician narrowly avoided relegation last season, with Forest finishing just above the drop zone with 32 points.
Santo had some justification for the team's poor performance, as Forest was docked four points for breaching profitability and sustainability rules, which temporarily placed them in the relegation zone.
However, with no such excuses this time around, Nuno will be under great scrutiny. A poor run of games could prove costly for him.
Steve Cooper - Leicester
After losing Enzo Maresca to Chelsea, Leicester were compelled to find a replacement for the season. With limited options available, they ultimately chose Steve Cooper.
The 44-year-old Cooper was sacked by Nottingham Forest in December after a string of five consecutive losses left Forest in 17th place.
Despite this setback, the Englishman has been given a second chance with the Foxes, who were the big the pre-season favourites for relegation.
