Ten Hag's side backed to finish 8th amid BIG mover in next Man Utd Manager Odds

Man Utd have limped into the Premier League international break.

Erik ten Hag’s side stemmed the flow somewhat with a goalless draw at Aston Villa on Sunday but questions remain over his future as Man Utd manager.

Going into the international break, ten Hag remains odds on with every bookmaker offering prices to be the next manager sacked in the Premier League (4/5 best on William Hill).

Meanwhile, the big mover in the next Man Utd manager odds market is Thomas Tuchel, who has taken nearly 80% of the bets on the market through oddschecker today.

The former Dortmund, PSG, Chelsea and Bayern Munich manager has come in from 10/1 to 2/1 on bet365 in the last four days but remains a 4/1 chance on BoyleSports – the only place other than Sky Bet (and exchange books) currently offering a bigger price on Tuchel than Gareth Southgate.

According to the latest Premier League odds, Man Utd are projected to finish 8th and are now rated odds against to finish in the Top Six (7/4 on Paddy Power). That’s despite United being the biggest bet in the Top 4 market before the season started (19% of pre-season bets).

You can now get 8/1 on bet365 or Betfred for Utd to finish in the Top Four.

One of the other big stories to be taken from the latest odds is that Wolves are projected to finish 17th – and avoid relegation from the Premier League – despite sitting bottom of the table after seven matches played with just a single point on the board.

Gary O’Neil’s side have already conceded 21 goals – six more than the second leakiest teams Everton and Southampton, who are favourites to finish bottom in May.

The final trend to note relates to the champions Man City, who are currently fighting 115 charges for alleged breaches of the Premier League's financial rules.

Nearly 20% of the bets on the Premier League winner market since the season started have been on Man City (only Arsenal with 21.5% have taken more).

City double up as the most popular ‘in-play’ bet for relegation with 25.2% - Everton (11.6%) are the only other team with a greater than 10% share.
