Marcus Rashford sparked intense speculation over his Man United future after declaring he is ready for a new challenge.
After being left out of the Manchester United squad for Sunday’s derby with city rivals Manchester City, Marcus Rashford has spoken out about his future.
Speaking to journalist Henry Winter, the 27-year-old said: “For me, personally, I think I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps.
“When I leave it’s going to be ‘no hard feelings’. You’re not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United.”
With the academy graduate seemingly out of new boss Ruben Amorim’s plans, and headed for the exit door at Old Trafford sooner than later, a host of clubs across the world could be a possible destination as early as the January transfer window.
Who are the favourites to sign Marcus Rashford in January?
At the time of writing, French champions PSG are the bookmakers’ favourites to sign Rashford in the January window, priced at 7/2 with Paddy Power.
At 6/1, a move to any Saudi Pro League club is seen as the second-likeliest option for the England international, though it would come as a surprise if he chose to leave Europe at this stage of his career.

Third in the Rashford next club odds market through oddschecker are Arsenal, priced at 8/1, who would surely offer an enticing proposition for Rashford given their upward trajectory in recent years, particularly when compared with United.
Fellow European clubs Barcelona and Chelsea are offered at 11/1, while a move to Tottenham or Newcastle is priced at 20/1.
Rashford has scored 87 Premier League goals for United since making his debut in 2016. He also has 16 international goals from 60 matches, though he only appeared once for the Three Lions in 2024 after falling out of favour with Gareth Southgate.
