Following the news of Sean Dyche’s sacking as manager of Everton, David Moyes is the strong betting favourite to replace him on Merseyside.
Having left West Ham at the end of last season, David Moyes has seen a surge of bets backing him for the Everton job now that Sean Dyche has been sacked.
After opening Monday at odds of 5/1, Moyes' odds have shortened to the odds-on favourite. In fact, even before the news of Dyche's sacking was confirmed today, 17% of the bets on oddschecker this week had backed Moyes for a return to the Premier League.
Another name at the top of the betting is former Chelsea, Man United and Tottenham manager, Jose Mourinho, who is currently the second favourite.
Other names at the top of the market include Lee Carsley, Thomas Frank, Leighton Baines and Steve Cooper - an early contender for the Luton job.
