Club World Cup 2025 Odds, Betting & Fixtures

The Club World Cup kicks off this weekend, so, who are the favourites, which clubs have attracted the most betting interest, and what are the standout fixtures to keep an eye on in the opening round?

The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is set to kick off this weekend.

Held in the United States from June 14 to July 13, this expanded edition transforms the previously low-profile tournament into a 32-team global spectacle.

With matches hosted across 12 cities, including New York, Miami, and Los Angeles, and the final set for MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, the revamped format mirrors the traditional FIFA World Cup, promising a month-long tournament of club football.

Manchester City enter the tournament as the defending champions, having cruised to a 4-0 victory over Fluminense in the final.

This time, however, they face a much stiffer challenge from a stacked field of some of the most successful clubs accross the globe.

European clubs Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain are among the top contenders, while South American sides Flamengo, Fluminense, Palmeiras, River Plate, and Boca Juniors add serious competition. From other regions, Al Ahly, Al Hilal, Urawa Red Diamonds, and Inter Miami, led by Lionel Messi, bring potential for upsets.

With £775 million in total prize money up for grabs, including a staggering £97 million for the winners, every club arrives with both silverware and financial stakes in mind.

Paris Saint-Germain are the most backed side via oddschecker in the seven days leading up to the start of the tournament with 25% of bets.

They are 5/1 with Bet Victor to lift the trophy.

Buoyed by their emphatic 5-0 victory over Inter Milan in the Champions League final, securing their first European crown, momentum is on their side.

Drawn in Group B alongside Atlético Madrid, Botafogo, and Seattle Sounders, PSG are expected to top their group and progress to the latter stages.

Their Champions League run included victories over Arsenal, Liverpool, and Bayern Munich, showing they can handle Europe’s elite.

However, injuries (notably Dembélé), a demanding summer schedule, and potential knockout ties against Palmeiras, Real Madrid, or Bayern Munich could test their depth and focus.
