Premier League Table Predictor 2025/26: The final table according to the odds

See who our Premier League table predictor backs to lift the title and which teams are tipped for relegation.

The 2025-26 Premier League season gets underway this Friday, promising another nine months of drama.

Liverpool enter as defending champions, having claimed their record-equalling 20th English top-flight crown under Arne Slot last season, finishing ten points clear of Arsenal.

This year’s battle at the top is set to be fierce, with Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester City widely tipped to dominate the title race once again, all strengthening with big-money summer signings.

Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Newcastle will also fancy their chances of crashing the Champions League places.

At the other end of the table, newly promoted Leeds United, Burnley, and Sunderland face the uphill task of securing survival, with bookmakers making them early favourites for the drop.

Sunderland’s return also reignites the Tyne-Wear derby for the first time in a decade, adding spice to the relegation fight.

Let's take a look at who the bookmakers predict to finish at the top of the league and who they expect to see drop into the championship.

Who is favourite to win the Premier League?

Liverpool head into the 2025-26 Premier League season as the clear favourites (19/10 AKBets) to retain their crown, with bookmakers backing Arne Slot’s side to go back-to-back.

Fresh from securing a record-equalling 20th English top-flight title in dominant fashion last year, the Reds have strengthened further with marquee signings including Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong and Hugo Ekitike.

With the possibility of Alexander Isak joining before the end of the window, Arne Slot won't be short of world class talent.

Their squad depth and attacking firepower make them the benchmark for the rest of the division, while rivals Arsenal and Manchester City are expected to push hard in what could be one of the most competitive title races in years.

Who is the favourite to be relegated from the Premier League

Burnley, Sunderland, and Leeds United head into the 2025-26 Premier League season as the bookmakers’ favourites for relegation, with all three newly promoted sides facing the daunting step up from the Championship.

Burnley (2/5 Betway) are seen as most at risk, their defensive solidity under Scott Parker offset by a lack of proven top-flight firepower and doubts over the manager’s Premier League track record.

Sunderland (4/9 AKBets) follow closely, returning to the top flight after eight years away but with a heavily overhauled squad short on Premier League experience, making cohesion a major question mark.

Leeds United (7/5 AKBets) have the best survival prospects of the trio after winning the Championship on goal difference, but an early tough fixture list and reliance on new signings leave them far from safe.

With recent history showing all three promoted clubs have gone straight back down in each of the last two seasons, survival will require quick adaptation.
