Sean Dyche is the 4/6 favourite to be the next Crystal Palace manager after three straight league defeats left Pierre Sage under pressure.
Crystal Palace are in the Premier League's bottom three, and Pierre Sage is under real pressure. Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Tottenham, where Jean-Philippe Mateta was sent off after 13 minutes, was their third league loss in a row without scoring. Palace are 18th with seven points from nine games.
The club has made no announcement and Sage insists he isn't giving up. Even so, the betting for his successor has firmed up behind one candidate, and Sean Dyche is now odds-on.

Who's Favourite to Be the Next Crystal Palace Manager?
Sean Dyche is the favourite to be the next Crystal Palace manager at a best price of 4/6, with BetVictor shorter at 1/2. That gives him an implied chance of around 60%. He has been out of work since Nottingham Forest dismissed him in February. Reports say he's well liked by part of the Palace board, and he's built his career on keeping sides in the Premier League, which is what Palace need right now.
Thomas Frank is second favourite at 3/1, about 25%. He has been free since Tottenham sacked him in February. He was reportedly on Palace's shortlist in the summer, and some at the club still favour him.
Robbie Keane is third favourite at 10/1, about 9%. Kieran McKenna is 12/1 with BetVictor, and Vitor Pereira, Rob Edwards and Eddie Howe are all 14/1. All four are out of work, so Palace could move quickly.
Pierre Sage Sack Odds
Sage is second favourite in the Premier League sack race behind Michael Carrick. BetVictor offers 5/2 and BetMGM has him much shorter at 11/10, an implied chance of nearly 48% that he's the next to go.
He was appointed from Lens in June to replace Oliver Glasner, and the start has been tough. Palace were beaten 5-0 at Brighton, lost to Newcastle at Selhurst Park and had just 20.6% possession at Spurs. There have been some bright spots, though. They reached the Carabao Cup quarter-finals with a win at Fulham and have four points in the Europa League.
After Saturday's game, Sage said, "you can trust in me, I will never give up", and added that the decision on his future was not his to make. Chairman Steve Parish was at the game but hasn't commented in public.
When Could Crystal Palace Make a Decision?
Palace host Hoffenheim in the Europa League on Thursday 5 November and Liverpool on Sunday 8 November, without the suspended Mateta. The international break runs from 9 to 17 November, the most common time for a change. That makes the Liverpool game a likely deadline for Sage.
