55/1 hope the most popular pick with Oddschecker users in the last seven days.
With this week's Players Championship sees the world's best golfers go head-to-head in what many fans and pundits call the 'fifth major'. So it's perhaps surprising to see the name at the top of the punter's list for the Sawgrass event.
With just over 8.6% of all bets, 30 year-old American Kevin Chappell is the most popular pick with Oddschecker users over the last seven days. The world number 23 was a winner of the Texas Open last month but that was his first and only victoy on tour to date. He failed to make the cut last time out, despite shooting a 65 in his second round but did finish runner-up in this event last year.
Still available at 55/1 with some firms, we've seen a number of three-figure bets for the American to go one better this time around.

In terms of total staked, Englishman Paul Casey leads the way in the Oddschecker rankings. Over 10.3% of all money staked in the last seven days has been for the man currently ranked 14th in the world rankings. Casey enjoyed another productive Masters early last month and finished T12 last week in the Wells Fargo Championship. Currently top-price 45/1, there are a number of Oddschecker users set to win big if the man from Cheltenham can double his number of PGA Tour wins on Sunday.
The biggest bet of the last seven days has been on 70/1 shot Russell Henley. The American was a winner of the Houston Open in February but missed the cut on his latest outing in the Zurich Classic last month. This hasn't deterred Oddschecker users with 5% of all bets on the world number 50.
The usual suspects have had their supporters too with the likes of Rory McIlroy, Sergio Garcia and Dustin Johnson all the subject of three-figure stakes.
