JT has overtaken Dustin Johnson as market leader
Justin Thomas is the clear favourite to win the US Open 2020, following a strong start at Winged Foot.
The American's odds have been cut from 14/1 into 5/1, as he sits -4 in the early stages of the major.
That means he's overtaken previous favourite Dustin Johnson, who has slid out from 8/1 to 9/1 best price (before teeing off).
Rory McIlroy is the other big market mover, cut from 16/1 pre-tournament into 9/1 second-favourite with the majority of UK bookies.
The biggest name in golf, Tiger Woods, is currently -1 and has been cut from 50/1 into as short as 25/1.
Oddschecker spokesperson Callum Wilson: "JT has been the outstanding performer of the early round and currently sits clear as solo leader.
"Surprisingly, Thomas wasn't in the top 10 most backed for the event, with many punters overlooking the Louisville native.
"Money has come for the world number 3 over the last 45 mins though, with a whopping 36% of all bets backing the 27-year-old."
US Open 2020 odds:
Justin Thomas - 5/1

Dustin Johnson - 9/1
Jon Rahm - 11/1
Xander Schauffele - 14/1
Bryson DeChambeau - 28/1
