We've got all you need to know ahead of the ZOZO Championship, including the latest odds and betting activity for this week's PGA Tour event.
- The ZOZO Championship will be played at Sherwood Country Club between Thursday 22nd and Sunday 25th October.
- Jon Rahm is the bookies’ favourite to win the ZOZO Championship, priced at 10/1.
- Punters are siding with 35/1 shot Bubba Watson since our market opened.
- Last year’s winner Tiger Woods is priced at 33/1 to defend his title here.
The ZOZO Championship was the first event on the PGA Tour to be held in Japan when it was added to the schedule last year. However, due to the coronavirus outbreak, this year’s event has been moved from Japan to Sherwood Country Club in California.
A 78-player field will take to the course at Lake Sherwood, including last year’s winner Tiger Woods. He’s bidding to land a record 83rd PGA Tour title this week. Meanwhile, Xander Schauffele looks to pick himself up after narrowly missing out at the CJ Cup last week to outsider Jason Kokrak.

Jon Rahm the current favourite
Jon Rahm currently tops the market for this year’s ZOZO Championship, at a best price of 10/1. The Spaniard hasn’t been in his best form lately, finishing T23 at the US Open before a T17 finish at the CJ Cup. He’s got a host of big names breathing down his neck for favouritism, with Xander Schauffele (11/1), Rory McIlroy (12/1) and Justin Thomas (12/1) all short prices.

- Jon Rahm 10/1
- Xander Schauffele 11/1

Punters have been avoiding those at the top of the market so far, though Webb Simpson (20/1) is the third most backed in our market. Defending champion Tiger Woods is a 33/1 shot to repeat last year’s success, but just 2.6% of Oddschecker bettors have sided with the legendary American since the market opened.
