Bookmakers expect the American team to win the 2021 Ryder Cup, despite their struggles in recent years to get the better of team Europe. Stricker’s team are a best price of 4/7 win the Ryder Cup back after losing in 2018 at Le Golf National.
Harrington’s European team are a best price of 6/4 to retain the Ryder Cup and 9/4 to win. Europe will be keen to draw inspiration from Europe’s winning Solheim Cup team who retained the trophy on Sunday. Emerging star, Leona Maguire, who shone for team Europe proved just how crucial wildcard picks can be.
