The 54-hole leader from the British Masters 2021 is the most backed through oddschecker to win this year’s tournament at a huge price.
Eddie Pepperell was tipped by Niall Lyons at 175/1 in his British Masters Preview but has since been cut to a best price 150/1 through oddschecker.
Another Lyons pick, Victor Perez (100/1 with seven places), features in the second most single bets through oddschecker so far this week, while Nicolai Højgaard (best price 100/1 against 33/1 in places) – not to be confused with identical twin Rasmus – rounds off the top three.

Lyons said of Pepperell's chances: "Eddie Pepperell may have missed the cut last week but may be worth another shot returning to England and to a course where he finished 11th on last year when leading heading into the final day.
“Despite missing the cut in Catalunya on the number, he gained strokes on the field from tee to green and was only three strokes behind the eventual winner at the half way stage. 15th the week before was an encouraging sign and it was mainly his short game that let him down last week.”
He added: "If he can continue in this fashion from tee to green I believe some better results are on the horizon and the attraction to betting him at this price is that we know his ceiling is an awful lot higher than plenty above him in the market.
“It may have been a long time since he was in contention and that may show should he reach the final groups on Sunday in the coming weeks, but at 150/1+ I'm more than happy to take the chance in an event he has won and finished 2nd in before."
At the time of writing, Englishman Pepperell has taken 8.57% of the bets for the British Masters through oddschecker, just ahead of Perez (8.02%).
