Tour Championship 2023 Starting Scores & Betting Odds

What are the starting scores for the 30 players qualified for the Tour Championship 2023? And what are the best bookmaker odds for each player?

Scottie Scheffler goes into the Tour Championship at East Lake with a two-shot lead over the man who hunted him down to win the BMW Championship yesterday.

Norwegian Viktor Hovland made 10 birdies in a stunning final round of 61 to claim victory at Olympia Fields Country Club, registering his second PGA Tour title of the season and fifth overall.

Who is the favourite to win the FedEx Cup 2023?

Despite Hovland’s weekend heroics, it is Scheffler who retains the advantage (15/8 favourite) going into the FedEx Cup finale, with a starting score of -10 - two ahead of Hovland on -8 (5/1).

Writing in his pre-tournament preview for the BMW Championship, oddschecker golf expert Niall Lyons said: "Scheffler was once again extremely frustrating and whilst it looked only a matter of time before his long game translated into a victory again, the putter has become a very serious issue.

"His long game in parts wasn't up to scratch either and even if he goes to East Lake with a lead he could be particularly vulnerable to a closer.”

Rory McIlroy FedEx Cup Odds

Three-time FedEx Cup champion Rory McIlroy, who starts a shot further back than Hovland at -7, is a best price 7/2 to add a fourth FedEx Cup title to those he won in 2016, 2019 and 2022.

The Northern Irishman reeled in Scheffler 12 months ago to win despite starting six shots behind him. Can Scheffler right the wrongs of 2022 and hold on to his pre-tournament lead?
