One man is dominating the betting as doubts over Scheffler’s involvement persist.
Scottie Scheffler has been usurped as the most backed golfer for next week's PGA Championship at Valhalla, as the world waits to see whether the world number one will be available to play.
Scheffler's participation in the second major of the year remains in doubt as he is still expecting his first child with wife Meredith.
Should everything go to plan and he is available to play, Scheffler would be the huge favourite to back up his Masters victory having won four times in his last five events, finishing runner-up on the one occasion he was beaten.

PGA Championship Tips
The most backed player to win the PGA Championship in the last seven days through oddschecker is the defending champion and five-time major winner BROOKS KOEPKA (16/1 on BetMGM).
Koepka, who has collected three of the last six PGA Championship titles, built on a promising top 10 showing at LIV Golf Adelaide to win last week’s LIV Golf Singapore by two strokes from 2022 Open Champion Cameron Smith and Marc Leishman.
The 34-year-old is one of 16 players representing LIV Golf at the 2024 PGA Championship - down from 18 in this event 12 months ago.
The 16 includes a surprise invitation for the outspoken Talor Gooch, while Louis Oosthuizen has declined an invitation to tee it up at Valhalla.
Koepka has taken more than 27% of the bets on the outright winner market in the last seven days.
Scheffler is the only other player with a greater than 10% share (12%). Masters runner-up Ludvig Aberg (8%) and Fleetwood (5.1%), T3 at Augusta, are third and fourth most backed respectively, while Rory McIlroy rounds off the top five with a 4.4% share.
