Rory McIlroy currently finds himself on the brink of missing the cut at the Open Championship.
Rory McIlroy entered the Open Championship determined to redeem himself after his disappointing finish at the US Open, where bogeys on three of the last four holes handed the trophy to Bryson DeChambeau.
Unfortunately, things haven't gone according to plan for the world number two. McIlroy currently sits four strokes outside the projected cut line (+3) in T127.
In the first round, McIlroy shot a 78 (+7), struggling to cope with adverse weather conditions. Winds of up to 20 mph and persistent rain made the already challenging Royal Troon course even tougher.
As we head into the second round of the tournament, Rory will need to dig deep as he fights to make the weekend cut, however, bookmakers haven't given him much of a chance.
