A quick look at this morning's most popular runners in the market.
The first of today's movers is Jonjo O'Neil's UTILITY in the 15.35 at Sandown. The 5yo won in the style of a horse that looks capable of a lot more at Chepstow when easing clear of his rivals and an opening mark of 118 may just underestimate his ability. As big as 10/3 on first showing last night, the son of Yeats is now as short as 11/8 in places (best price 6/4).
Next it's to Sedgefield's 13.05 where DARSI DANCER has proven popular all morning. Although only 7th on his most recent outing at Perth back in July, the 8yo did win a 3m3f hurdle race at today's venue after a break in October 2015. 10/1 this morning, some bookies are now as short as 4/1 (best price 11/2).
Sticking at Sedgefield and the 15.25 where BELLAMY is a strong favourite for Neil Mulholland. The trainer is a rare visitor to the track but boasts a record of 8 winners from just 19 runners over the last 5 years. Bellamy, a point-to-point winner, cost connections 25,000 euros at the sales two years ago and it appears punters expect the 5yo to make a fast start to life under Rules. Some firms were as big as 7/2 on first showing last night but are now only offering 10/11 (best price 11/10).
Finally in the opener at Sedgefield HEY BOB has been backed into favourtism. Placed in two hurdle races from 16 starts, the 4yo was last seen finishing Third of 13 over this course and distance (good) in October. 5/1 last night, he's now as short as 9/4 with one firm (best price 7/2).
