Fayonagh's win in the Champion Hurdle gives Gordon Elliott his fifth winner at this year's festival.
Fayonagh cam through the field to win the Champion Bumper, giving Jamie Codd a fantastic double after Cause of Causes won the Cross Country Chase earlier this afternoon.
Fayonagh, who started the race as a 7-1 shot, came all the way from last to first in winning the last race of the day and became only the second mare to win the race at the Cheltenham Festival.
The Margaret Mullins-trained Debuchet, available at 12/1 pre-race, was the runner-up, a length or so behind and Nicky Henderson's Claimantakinforgan coming home in third having been a 40/1 shot.
Glenn Elliott's dream Cheltenham continues with this latest win and he said after the race:
“Fair play to Jamie Codd, he recommended him to be trained by me, it’s fantastic.
“When she pulled out she was class. I was worried about her on the ground, we were going to go to Sandown.
“Five in two days, I can’t believe it.”
