
Churchill wins the 2000 Guineas and is now favourite for the Epsom Derby.
The 6/4 favourite held off the challenge from Barney Roy and Al Wukair. to win the 2,000 Guineas and hand trainer Aidan O'Brien a record-breaking eighth 2000 Guineas win.
It was also the second win in the classic for jockey Ryan Moore, who previously won in 2015 on Gleneagles, and it was a result that pleased punters.
Churchill had been backed on Oddschecker throughout the week with 24 per cent of bets backing the eventual winner, who now heads the market for next month's Derby.
Wiliam Hill instantly cut their price to 7/2 following the impressive display while Ladbrokes and Betfair are standing firm on 6/1.
