The three-year-old filly is the 9/4 favourite for the Arc after four wins on the trot.
Another barnstorming performance has seen John Gosden’s star filly go clear favourite for the Arc in October. The double Oaks winner demolished the opposition to win the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot, a field that included the likes of 2016 winner Highland Reel, Jack Hobbs and Idaho.
Installed originally in the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe market at 20/1 after her Epsom win, it took less than a day for bookies to cut that price to 14/1. Today, Enable’s price has been slashed from 6/1 to as short as 2/1 (9/4 best price). Frankie Dettori’s ride accounts for 28.4% of bets placed on the market since galloping over the finish line for King George glory .
The Yorkshire Oaks is another race that Gosden may target next and Enable is now just 1/3 after being available at even money earlier in the day. Rhododendron (6/1), Queens Trust (10/1) and Winter (12/1) are the next horses in the market.
