We take a quick look at the market movers this Monday morning
Unplaced on his five starts to date, FASTALONG is an interesting springer in the market in Carlisle’s 15.55 6f nursery. Tim Easterby’s 2yo has been beaten a total of 48 lengths on his last three starts yet has been backed in from 14/1 this morning to as short as 9/2 with one bookmaker (best price 7/1).
In the opener at Brighton the money has come for the Richard Hughes runner TOJOSIMBRE. A winner of one of his eight starts to date, the grey gelding returns to the scene of that victory today and punters have snapped up the 10/1 on offer last night with the 3yo now best price 7/1.
In Worcester’s finale, there has been good support for RAINY DAY DYLAN in the 2m maiden hurdle. A runner-up on his last start at Wincanton back in March, the winner that day has since gone on to frank the form with a second and another win from his next two starts. Neil Mulholland’s 6yo opened up at 8/1 on first showing but is now half that price with one firm (best price 6/1).
Also at Worcester today, course and distance winner CAPE CASTER is the one punters want to be on in the 15.35. Evan Williams’ 6yo has been in consistent form since scoring at the track back in May and is just one pound higher in the weights today. Originally as big as 7/1 this morning, one bookmaker is now just 7/2 (best price 11/2).
