Monday's Horse Racing Market Movers from Oddschecker

A round-up of which horses have been popular with punters in the markets this Monday morning

Over in Ireland, SOLO SAXOPHONE is the one punters want to be on. Dermot Weld’s son of Frankel was a runner-up on his latest start on conditions similar to what he should face today. The smart hurdler Jers Girl is the favourite but the support for Pat Smullen’s mount could see Solo Saxphone vying for that honour before the off. 4/1 when first priced up, some firms are now just 13/8 (best price 2/1).

In the 14.55 at Kempton PLY is a well-supported favourite for Roger Charlton and Harry Bentley. The trhree-year-old is still winless from his five starts but has been placed in two of those efforts including when third on his latest run at Newmarket when he was again strong in the market. As big as 13/2 when the market was formed last night, he’s been backed into favouritism and as short as 7/4 with one firm (best price 9/4).

Also at Rosscommon, another favourite who has been strong in the betting is SIEMPRE AMIGOS. Another who has yet to win from his six starts, the four-year-old finished second in a Galway handicap on soft ground last time out, finishing his race strongly. That performance has clearly caught the eyes of punters who have backed him in from 5/1 to a general 11/4 shot (best price 3/1).
