A round-up of the most popular horses in the markets so far today
There's plenty across the UK and Ireland to get your teeth into but we start at Cork, where in the 14:10 MAZE RUNNER is looking to break its duck in its third start. Placing third and second, Colin Keane will look to go one better and punters think it's a good bet, with odds now as short as 11/4 in places. (4/1 best price)
In the 14:30 at Chepstow JUST A THOUGHT is attracting all the attention. Twice a winner already, a starting price of 11/2 has come in all the way to 85/40 and is currently favourite for the totescoop6's Mares Novices Hurdle (best price 11/4).
20 minutes later in the 14:50 at Hexham, ALPINE SECRET has forced his way to the top of the betting. The five-year old has yet to win but is well fancied in this one. He'll be ridden by Nico de Boinville and is currently available at 9/4, reduced from the readily available 5/1 at the start of the day (best price 3/1).
Finally a spate of Non-runners has seen prices come in the 17:45 at Kempton, but one horse that has enjoyed a cutting more than most is AVENGING RED. In its fifth race, the colt has been there or thereabouts in all but one of his last four outings. It's now 5/1, reduced from 12s (best price 15/2).
