Punchestown Festival winner MAGIC OF LIGHT has caught the eye of a few this morning. The six-year old looks to have the most potential in the field, and punters have been taking advantage of the price. Starting at 11/4, you can now get a best price of 7/4, although the odds are as short as 11/8 with some.

Ludlow 15:00 - Darebin
DAREBIN ran a strong race at course & distance last time out, only beaten by Bigmartre. The money suggests he’s likely to improve on that effort this afternoon, and has seen his odds shorten from 7/2 to 6/4 (best price 15/8) this morning. Jamie Moore rides him and will be confident of a strong performance, with just five other runners.
Thurles 16:30 – Monksland
Winner of four hurdle races, MONKSLAND, has been backed in to odds-on favourite in the 16:30 at Thurles. The Noel Meade trained horse looks to be a cut above the rest here, and can be backed at a best price of 4/5 (but is as short as 8/13). The ten-year old was available at 26/19 earlier in the day.
Southwell 16:45 – Hidden Glen
HIDDEN GLEN, the half-brother to fair hurdler Undisputed, runs in the 16:45 at Southwell and has had his odds slashed. Having started the day at 5/2, Hidden Glen is now as short as 11/10 (best price 11/8). The unraced gelding cost €47,000 in June last year, and is attracting a lot of attention in the markets this morning.
