Blaklion is the clear favourite for the big race in April.
Nigel Twiston-Davies claimed his sixth winner of the Becher Chase as Blaklion sailed over the line nine lengths clear at Aintree. The horse was sent off as 7/4 favourite as money piled in just before the off.
Gavin Sheehan – who rode a close second behind Bristol De Mai last month at Wetherby – never looked in trouble and the Grand National fourth was cut to as short as 9/1 for the 2018 event whilst 12/1 is still on offer. 69.8% of bets on the Grand National market have been on Blaklion today.
