Sue Smith's 12-year-old Cloudy Too is proving to be a popular bet amongst punters.
The Veterans Handicap Chase at Aintree takes place on Saturday and Sue Smith’s Cloudy Too is the horse of choice for punters, as he looks to secure a 10th win.
The 12-year-old has still been competing against top class horses and it was less than two years ago he landed the Grade 1 Peter Marsh Chase at Haydock.
With this in mind, 38% of punters have decided to back Sue Smith’s horse, which is still as big as 10/1 for Saturday’s race.
Gas Line Boy who leads the market at 4/1 is also well fancied, with just over 25% of bets being placed on the favourite.
However, Smith believes her horse is capable of producing a big run come Saturday.“He should run a good race. He seems to be in very good form – I watched him work on Tuesday and he went very well. He ran quite a good race round there last year when finishing fifth, and the ground should suit him.”
