Saturday brings us the Welsh Grand National where there is no obvious favourite.
With the ground at Chepstow becoming rapidly worse, it has become far more difficult for punters to choose their winner for this year’s Welsh Grand National on Saturday.
With Phillip Hobbs announcing his uncertainty over Rock The Kasbah running in the ever-growing tough conditions, ante-post punters may not even see their horse figure.
Instead, Mysteree (8/1), Wild Wild West (10/1) and Beware the Bear (10/1) are the three key horses in this race, according to Oddschecker punters. Over 30% of the bets have been placed between these three ahead of the main Chepstow race.
Although that being said, Neil King’s Milansbar best priced at 16/1 has taken the biggest bets and is a horse which will truly relish the conditions.
“He’s a horse that should be all about the Nationals as the testing ground is a big positive for him. He ran well in the Trial and he’s got a nice racing weight – we’re very much hoping it goes ahead.”
