Nicky Henderson's Supreme Hurdle market leader well-backed for Saturday's Grade 1
One of Nicky Henderson’s leading novice hurdlers We Have A Dream continues to be backed for the Tolworth Hurdle at Sandown on Saturday, despite being 11/10 favourite for the Grade 1 Juvenile Hurdle at Chepstow on the same day.
Henderson is already responsible for Tolworth ante-post favourite Claimantakinforgan, but it’s his stable companion who has been attracting all the interest in the last 24 hours. As big as 10/1 on Wednesday, the strong support has seen those odds more than half with most bookies with SkyBet now offering just 9/2 (best price 8/1).
In the same period, Oddschecker has seen 46.83% of all bets on the race placed on the Simon Munir & Isaac Souede-owned four-year-old. That’s some distance clear of Amy Murphy’s second-favourite Kalashnikov with just 12.2% and Western Ryder who has attracted 11.71% of bets.

Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek: “It will be interesting to see which track Nicky Henderson sends his exciting juvenile to on Saturday. On paper you would expect the Chepstow race would be the easier of the two as he would be racing against his fellow four-year-olds but the heavy rain that led to the postponement of the card just over a week ago raises question marks over just how bad conditions will be at the Welsh venue. He is towards the top of the ante-post markets for the Supreme and the Triumph Hurdle and this weekend’s choice will likely be an early indication on which race Henderson has preference for in March.”
