There was a big difference between best and worst price for Oddschecker users...
On a warm evening in Yarmouth, Jamie Spencer racked up the winners to leave punters smiling, as the 38-year-old took the first three races and went to score a five-timer, including a notable performance on Choco Box as the three-year-old looked effortless in victory.

There were some chunky looking betslips doing the rounds on Twitter, but here at Oddschecker we looked at the best and worst odds if you were backing any of the winners five minutes before race-time, and it made for a big difference!
Based on prices before the off, a £1 accumulator at the worst bookmakers combined odds would have netted you £215, some £69 behind the SP figures for the Acca (CC: @AtTheraces)!
However backing the best prices meant you’d have scored £302 off a £1 stake, giving you £87 more than the worst odds – That’s more than enough for a celebratory drink!
Spencer was in the news at the start of the month, after he entered the top 20 of the most successful British-based riders of all time. And if he continues to show more of his trademark style that was evident in Norfolk this evening, he’s a long way from finished.
