John Gosden's colt enhanced his claims for next year's Derby with a striking victory at Sandown.
A four-length demoltion job on just his second outing has seen Too Darn Hot slashed to the 8/1 favourite for the 2019 Derby.
John Gosden’s two-year-old was the even money favourite for the Solario Stakes and obliged in spectacular fashion. The 25/1 available this morning on the full brother to So Mi Dar and Lah Ti Dar is now long gone.
One of the main reasons bookmakers are running to cover is that Gosden won this race with Masar last year, who of course, went on to win the classic at Epsom.
Confident punters have been backing the unbeaten colt throughout the day. He has accounted for 92.4% of bets on the market today and is now as short as 5/1.
