Frankie Dettori steers the filly to success – and she will aim for a hat-trick in 2019.
It was always going to be tough to justify her favouritism, but Enable did just that as she held on to win the 2018 Arc in Longchamp.
Despite a fantastic finish from Sea Of Class, John Gosden’s filly hung on to score her second consecutive victory in the event, and Frankie Dettori’s sixth overall.
She’s done it again! Willing and Enable

Gosden said that the four-year-old was only ‘85%’, but that was enough for victory in Paris, with talk already swirling about next year.
No horse has ever won three Arc’s, but Enable could be set to try and do just that next year. Already, we have bookmakers taking odds on the unprecedented feat occurring.
You can get 6/1 on Enable winning next year, which puts her favourite. Sea Of Class is just behind on 8/1, and James Doyle was widely praised for his role in this year’s race, nearly pulling off a stunning victory.
But Enable was the star in the day, and no-one should be too surprised if she makes history in 12 months time.
Oddschecker Spokesman George Elek: “Enable showed all the class that we knew she had, and wins back-to-back Arcs. Could she make it three in a row? Bookies make it 5/1 that she is the first to ever do it, and it would surprise no-one if this talented four-year-old did the unthinkable in 2019.”
