We take a closer look at the horses moving in the markets across the UK and Ireland today.
First up in the 15:00 at Musselburgh, it's GOLDEN JEFFREY. Starting way out at 12/1, he's now as short as 3/1 with some bookies, available at a best price of 4/1. Despite poor form overall this season, the five-year-old's record at this venue is very impressive. His last win came at the Musselburgh track in July, and he has two wins and a second place finish in his only three starts there.
Next in the 17:40 at Newcastle, we have TUKHOOM. Priced at 5/1 when markets opened, some bookies have him as short as 7/4, settling at a best price of 9/4. A quick reappearance in first-time cheekpieces after a solid third place in a high-class field at Newmarket on Saturday. He's been third off this mark on each of his last three runs, including over track and trip.
Finally, it's ROYAL COURT in the 18:30 at Dundalk. Originally priced at a hefty 8/1, the odds have shortened to 13/8 in places, with a best price of 5/2. Joseph O'Brien's juvenile impressed on debut at Gowran Park in a field of 16 runners at the end of last month. Punters are expecting more in his second start.
