The second-fav is proving the popular pick at present.
Un De Sceaux is challenging superstar chaser Altior in the betting for the Tingle Creek Chase, with the 10-year-old attracting 34% of all bets this morning.
Following the declaration of the four entrants for Saturday’s marquee race, a surge of bets have been placed on the Willie Mullins-trained horse.
That’s led to bookies cutting odds on Un De Sceaux from 5/1 into 9/2, with money continuing to pile in.
Altior currently leads the market as an odds-on at 8/11, and is well fancied to emulate his Celebration Chase. He’s attracted 58% of all bets on the featured race.
Oddschecker spokesperson George Elek: “It's no shock to see superstar Altior the most popular in the betting, but Un De Sceaux is not far behind.
“Despite only the four runners, the race is a high-quality contest which will tell us a huge amount about the chasing quartet.”
