We take a closer look at the horses moving in the markets across the UK and Ireland today.
First up, in the 12:20 at Haydock, it's NICEANDEASY. Originally priced at 7/1, the odds have shortened to 4/1 in places, with a best price of 5/1 available. Didn't disgrace himself when finishing third at Sedgefield on Boxing Day, with blinkers on for the first time today and expected to be sharper as a result.
Next, in the 14:00 at the same track, we have BACK TO THE THATCH. Starting out at 4/1, some bookies have gone as far as 5/2, settling at a best price of 10/3. Ran a solid race finishing just six lengths behind Welsh National runner-up Ramses De Teillee at Chepstow last time out.
Finally, in the 14:40 at Limerick, we have TOMMY DOCC. Priced at 7/2 initially, he's now as short as 2/1, with 9/4 the best price. Without a win since 2015 but finishing second in his last two starts, he steps up in class today and should be there or thereabouts.
