First up, in the 13:45 at Southwell, it's ORNATE. Originally priced at 7/2, his odds have come in as far as 13/8, with a best price of 2/1. Narrowly second over track and trip just eleven days ago, David Griffiths' sprinter is expected to score on the fibresand today.
Next, in the 13:55 at Fakenham, we have AMANTO. Starting way out at 14/1, some bookies have gone as short as 11/2, settling on a best price of 13/2. A sea of blue on our grid, the nine-year-old is struggling over timber but backed to improve stepping back up in trip today.
Finally, returning to Southwell for the 14:20, it's CUSTARD THE DRAGON. Priced at 12/1 when markets opened, he's now as short as 7/2, with a best price of 5/1 available. Winner of this race last year, John Mackie's gelding is being backed to improve on more recent efforts.
