The five most backed horses in the Grand National

We reveal the most backed horses in the Grand National market today.

TIGER ROLL (11/2)

Unsurprisingly, the most backed horse in the market is last year's winner. Bidding to do the Cheltenham Cross Country and Grand National double for the second year running, Gordon Elliott's star has attracted 20% of bets today.

RATHVINDEN (10/1)

Ruby Walsh's ride is heavily fancied to oppose Tiger Roll, having shown his capabilities over 4m when winning the National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham last year. Winning at Fairyhouse on his reappearance, Willie Mullins' 11-year-old has accrued 11% of bets on the race today.

VINTAGE CLOUDS (18/1)

Beaten by Beware The Bear in the Ultima at Cheltenham last month, plenty of money has gone his way today. Trained by Sue Smith, who trained 66/1 winner Auroras Encore, 6% of bets on the market today have gone on the nine-year-old.

DOUNIKOS (28/1)

A quick fire double yesterday for Jack Kennedy and Gordon Elliott has got punters thinking about Tiger Roll's stablemate. Impressing over 3m4f at Punchestown last time out, the eight-year-old is a well-backed outsider with 5% of bets.

WALK IN THE MILL (33/1)

Won the 3m2f Becher at Aintree before Christmas in impressive fashion. Tipped up by Oddschecker tipster Andy Holding, Robert Walford's charge has also attracted 5% of bets on the market today.
