We take a closer look at the horses moving in the markets across the UK and Ireland today.
The first mover of the day is WATCHING BRIEF who runs in the 16:55 at Warwick. As big as 14/1 earlier in the betting, he is now a best price of 5/1 and as short as 10/3. This is intriguing as he has not offered much since changing trainer earlier in the season. He has not looked like winning in his last three starts but has dropped rapidly in the weights in that time. That could be behind this big gamble and you would think trainer Christian Williams has got him working well for the money to be coming in at the rate it is. This race may have been the target all along and punters will certainly hope so given the big move for him.
Next up, we have UNTOUCHABLE BEAUTY who is running in the 18:00 at Kempton. She was 5/1 overnight, but has been hammered into 9/4 best price and as short as 7/4 in places. This gamble makes for very interesting reading as this two-year-old is lining up for her first career start today. She has a useful pedigree and is related to nine winners out of the mare. Hugo Palmer has got a very good record with two-year-olds so far this season and punters fancy Untouchable Beauty to continue the trend. She is facing rivals that have already had a few runs this season but the odds movements suggest she could have too much for them.
Lastly, OMNIVEGA is running in the 19:30 at Kempton. This three-year-old was as big as 6/1 but has shortened into a best price of 11/4 and as short as 9/4 with some bookies. Only seen once so far this season he ran a respectable race at Nottingham last month. Last season, he ran well in a hot maiden that has produced Group winners this season. He is down in class this evening and a first time hood should help him further. Jamie Spencer takes the ride and is in good form which will benefit this three-year-old. This movement is well worth keeping an eye on and will be interesting to see how it unfolds.
