We take a closer look at the horses moving in the markets across the UK and Ireland today.
The first market mover of the day is DOLLNAMIX who is running in the 13:30 at Hereford. He was as big as 9/1 before shortening into 9/2 with some bookmakers going 10/3. He was slightly disappointing when making his seasonal reappearance at Wincanton last month but he will have needed the run. Punters fancy him to show some of his best form last season this afternoon where he came twice, three out of the four times he ran. Nick Scholfield takes the rides who is riding well as of late and the money coming in suggests a big run is expected.
Secondly, is GREGARIOUS who is running in the 14:20 at Lingfield. He was as big as 5/1 earlier in the betting but is now a best price of 2/1 with some bookies going 15/8. This six-year-old has returned to hurdling this season after disappointing over fences last year bar one strong run at Carlisle. He is now 2lb below his last winning hurdling mark and if running to his best he should go close. Punters seem to think he will be at his best with the big move for him.
Lastly, BRITANIO BELLO is running in the 15:20 at Lingfield. He was 9/1 before being punted into 10/3 and is as short as 3/1 in places. This is an interesting move for Gary Moore’s horse who hasn’t won over fences in 10 attempts but despite that punters are still getting heavily involved. He is now running off a mark of 85 and given he was once rated 120 plenty think he is well handicapped. He will have to put in a better showing than he did last month but the money coming in for him is intriguing and he is well worth keeping an eye on.
