£250k prize fund guaranteed for racing game which launches today…
For some, Ten to Follow is the long awaited return of an old friend; for others, the ‘ultimate season-long bet’ is racing’s welcome return venture into the Fantasy sport sphere and a new opportunity for a chance at a minimum prize pool of a whopping £250k. What is for certain for all followers of National Hunt racing however, is that the Tote’s new Ten to Follow game is guaranteed to be a lot of fun to play and a worthwhile season-long investment given the size of the prizes on offer.
What is Ten to Follow?
Ten to Follow is a season long prediction game, where each player picks a stable of ten horses for the duration of the National Hunt season with the aim of accumulating points when their stable horses win or place in a race. The winner is the player whose stable has the most points come the end of the season and will win the top prize, guaranteed to be a minimum of £250,000 for the paid game and £10,000 for the free to enter game. There will also be monthly prize draws of £10k (£1k for the free game) for the stable with the most points every month. Each player can enter as many stables as they like into the game at a cost of £5 per stable.
How does the scoring work?
Scoring points is dependent on the quality of the race, with Grade 1s scooping the most points (25) down to Listed Class and below which score 10 points. Throughout the season, there are also 15 bonus races where points are awarded for finishing 1st or 2nd; starting with the Ladbrokes Trophy on November 30th , taking in some of the large Christmas pots, 7 races at the Festival, the Grand National and culminating with the bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown in April. On top of that, points are also divvied out based on the price of a winning horse and the return based on a £1 each-way bet on the Tote.
