Betfair Exchange Free Bet Streak: oddschecker's last tipster standing day three

Betfair Exchange Free Bet Streak: oddschecker's last tipster standing day three

Five of the original nine remain as we head into day three of the Betfair Free Bet Streak

This week the Betfair Exchange launched its best ever offer, the Free Bet Streak. Wanting to take full advantage of the offer we rounded up the oddschecker staff who’re attempting a winning streak across Royal Ascot week.

We’re now into day three and we’ve got five of the original nine still standing after winners for Lord North in the 15:00 at Ascot, a place for Adeyybb in the same race and Gwangju FC’s 2-1 victory over Incheon United. Some players are waiting on results in the Premier League on Wednesday evening.

So, without further ado, onto the oddschecker experts' - those who remain - Free Bet Streak tips for Thursday’s sport. How many can keep up their streak?

Sam Eaton, Head of Marketing, oddschecker US - Selection: Matt Kuchar first round leader First Round Leader in the RBC Heritage

At a big price, Matt Kuchar is well worth chancing with the free bet in the hope he can get off to a flyer tomorrow. 60/1 is a huge price!

Teague Calvin, Marketing Operations Manager - Selection: Real Madrid to win

With Lord North scoring at 12.0 on Day 2 of Ascot, I’m going to keep this one simple and go with Real Madrid to beat Valencia on Thursday night. Whilst Los Blancos weren’t at their fluent best against Eibar, their star studded line-up were clinical enough to run out comfortable 3-1 winners and they’ll go just two points behind Barcelona at the top of the table if they claim three points. Valencia struggled against a Levante side that had 10 men for the final 15 minutes of the game, managing a measly two shots on target, so I can’t see Madrid slipping up here.

Guy Harding, Head of Commercial - Selection: Lay Stradivarius

As I know only too well, sometimes it’s easier to pick a loser than a winner. Having begun to familiarise myself with Lay betting on the Betfair Exchange I was profitable on Day 2 of the Royal Festival where I chose to oppose both Japan and Lord Tennyson. The pair were favourites for their respective races but undeservedly so in my opinion especially given how little we know this season due to its delayed start.

With this in mind, I’m going to use my second free bet from my streak to Lay Stradivarius. Heresy, I hear you cry, but no hear me out – favourites have been getting beaten left, right and centre and Stradivarius hasn’t won on his last two outings- albeit the Newmarket test was a mere warm up for this. 4/7 looks too short for me so I will be laying him on the exchange at 1.7 or thereabouts.

I just can’t see Stradivarius stringing them along like he did last year.

Sam Farley, Content and Marketing Manager - Selections: Cheltenham to win, Newcastle Knights to win, over 2.5 goals

I currently have £5 in the free bet tank, with another £10 possible depending on results in the two Prem games tonight. If those come in I’ll take the following in this order:

Football – Northampton v Cheltenham – Cheltenham to win @2.5 (£5)

I’ve seen a fair bit of Cheltenham last year, being a Plymouth Argyle fan, and they impressed me nearly every team. Whilst they may not be as good as the mighty greens, they are a very good footballing side. Without the home advantage Northampton would usually have with fans, I fully expect Cheltenham to sweep them aside. Really good price in my view.

Rugby League – Newcastle Knights v Brisbane Broncos – Knights to win @ 1.48 (£5)

It’s not a huge price but I’ll take it where I can. The Knights have only accumulated one more win than the Broncos but their points differential is impressive, having scored 122 and giving up 82. It’s even better when compared with the Broncos who have only scored 74 and given up a mind boggling 152 points.

Football – Mjallby v Falkenbergs – Over 2.5 goals @ 2 (£5)

Swedish football is always good for goals and always one of the leagues I look at if I’m fancy an overs acca. At even money I’ll back a few to be scored today.

Jake Gallagher, Head of Social and Content - Selections: African Dream to win, Real Madrid to win and Patrick Reed First Round Leader in the RBC Heritage

African Dream to win 16:40 at Ascot (£10 at 3.25)

Slight caveat here; my first option was Stradivarius but when I woke at 6am I heard rain and I can still hear that rain. Gosden himself has referenced it this morning saying: "If it hadn't rained I'd be very confident." As for African Dream, I'm blindly following a man I trust, oddschecker's premier tipster Andy Holding.

Real Madrid to beat Valencia (£8 at 1.39)

I’m a football punter at heart so want to put some of my funds into a bet that’s as close to a sure thing as it gets. Real are facing a Valencia side in possibly the worst form they’ve been in all season with just one win in their last nine.

Patrick Reed First Round Leader in the RBC Heritage (£2 at 50.00)

I’ve got a soft spot for Pat Reed, something I never thought I’d admit in writing, after having a few bucks on his Masters victory back in 2018. Reed looked solid in the Charles Schwab and a ran the leaders close in the final round posting a neat and tidy 67.
